Atlas getting even greener!

Even more? Yes!

We are delighted to be able to share the following news with you: There will be even more trees at Atlas! That’s right, lots more trees! The more the merrier. The existing greenery at Atlas already creates a campus feeling, but these new trees will draw you into park-like and inspiring surroundings, the perfect environment for a great workplace.

As you may know, Atlas is owned by Vastint Netherlands. The new trees come from Vastint’s neighbouring office complex at Hullenbergweg 1-3, where the redevelopment of Ruby Gardens is due to take place. To achieve these plans, a number of trees have to be removed. But since the trees are in excellent condition and can be readily transplanted, it has been decided to give them a new lease of life. And so, at the end of January we will welcome 14 Metasequoias to Atlas!

The circular use of these trees enables Atlas to create a sustainable and inspiring working environment. That’s because the trees reduce heat stress, prolonged drought, and flooding. Our green friends also purify the air and provide cooling.

To keep inconvenience to a minimum and prevent access from being blocked, replanting work will take place on Saturday 29 January. If it’s not possible to finish relocating all the trees on 29 January, work will resume and be completed on Saturday 5 February.
